Tears will always fall. Part 5

Loki was standing and quietly observing the Asgardian sunset when Thor burst through the doors to the room which Loki was confined to.

"And to what do I owe the pleasure of your visit, brother?" Loki said, sarcasm dripping from every word.

"I bare bad news, brother." was all that Thor said, his expression said, and sympathetic.

"I highly doubt it could worsen my already terrible day." Loki retorted as he walked to the foot of his bed and sat.

"She had another attack," Thor said bluntly, his statement causing Loki's eyes to widen and him to stand up abruptly.

"What do you mean?! She hasn't had an attack in years! Why all of a sudden? Please, please tell me someone was there to help her!" Loki exclaimed, extremely worried. "She's alright, yes?" Loki asked, searching his brothers reaction.

Thor looked off to the side, avoiding Loki's intense gaze.

"Thor, tell me she's alright." Loki said and grabbed Thor by the tips of his cloak. "TELL ME!!!" Loki began to shake him.

"She's in fatal condition." Thor said, still not looking at his brother. Loki was shocked, letting go of Thor, he backed away, and sat on his bed once more, his head in his hands as tears began to well up in his green eyes.

"She's under the care of Alfheim's best healers, Loki." Thor finished, finally looking over at his brother's saddened form.

Loki picked his head up. He looked at his brother with a tear filled glare. "Let me see her." Loki commanded.

"I cannot. You know that you are not to leave this room."

Loki stood, his back straightened and his demeanor demanding. "Thor, she's my wife. Allow me to see her!" he demanded.

Thor was going to repeat his previous sentence, but Loki's cut him off.

"She's my wife Thor! I love her! If she is dying than I must see her!" His tears began to fall from his eyes. "I may be a criminal in your eyes, and in the eyes of father, but I am not in her's. Allow me to see her!"

"I would, but father may be against it."

"She's your friend, Thor." Loki said, walking over to Thor once more. "She's had an attack like this before, when we were younger. I know what can save her."

"Than tell me so that the healers of Alfheim may know!"

"Not unless I can see her." Loki said, more tears were spilling from his eyes. Thor sighed, but he finally gave in.

"I will tell father you will be under my watch." he said, than left.

Loki sat at the end of his bed again, putting his head in his ends. He softly whispered your name, and after a brief sniffle he finished his sentence. "I'll save you, I promise."
