Tears will always fall.

The rushing of boot clad feet was heard inside the palace. All you could do was stare blankly into the distance, as the tears slowly slid from your eyes and stained your cheeks. You clutched his cloak tightly in your hands as you sat in his room, on his bed.

Thor's voice boomed loudly as he yelled. He was always the one to bark orders at the slightest sign of chaos, but this time, it was different. A realm was under attack. To be more specific, it was Midgard.

'How could he do this?' You thought repeatedly. 'Why?'

As Thor walked past the open door, he glanced at you. Tears were in his eyes too. There was no doubt in your mind that Friga and Odin were crying as well. As soon as Thor was out of sight, you brought the dark green cloak to your face, breathing in his scent.

'What would drive him to this?' Again, you thought which only caused more pain in your heart. You were sad and fearful for many reasons, the first: What took away his reason and rationality?, the second, When would he return to you?, the third, Is he EVER going to return to you?

"Please," You mumbled into his cloak, as you rubbed its soft material against your cheek. "Please, return to me, Loki."
