Your heart raced inside your chest as you poked your head around the corner quietly. After getting a good look at the Sycorax's backsides...ew. Unfortunately your very precious Doctor was abit tied up at the moment. Literally tied to a turning wheel attached to the wall.

On a side note, it was fun to watch him spin, honestly, you had to bite your knuckle to keep from laughing when they spun him.

Back to the danger at hand. You leaned your head against whatever the hell was behind you, about to let out a rather large sigh but contained it. You clutched desperately to the Doctor's sonic screwdriver, which he had left in the TARDIS, therefore into your hands, had barely taught you to use. But you were clever, oh so ver clever, the Doctor would tell you, and because he was no longer a rescue option you skills, brains, and the sonic screwdriver was now all you had to rely on.

Oh dear.

Your breathing quickened, and you checked the perimater around your target once more before doing a very ungraceful crouch and run over to your new hiding spot, and the first portion of your plan.

Luckily, this was a small Sycorax ship, so there were not thousands of crew members onboard, there was about twenty to fourty shipmates. Well, you could handle that much, right? Surely you could, surely, because the Doctor was around, surely. You put the screwdriver inbetween your lips and pulled open a panel, and began mixing the wires.

It was mentioned earlier that you were smart, and it was no small task to rewire the ships intercom and autopilot, along with its gravity stimulator among other things. You almost giggled, the Doctor will be so proud, you thought as you took one of the intercom wires and placed it in your phone. You set your phone down on the floor gently and took the sonic screwdriver out of your mouth and turned it on, using it to restart the flow of energy.

Sparks flew out of the pannel and burned your hands, causing you to let out a small hiss at the burning sensation. You shook your head though, remembering to focus on the task at hand. Once your phone was hooked up, you used it to call the Doctor's cell phone, which was in your pocket, and pulled it out, answering it silently, so your plan would not go off to early. You opened his cell phone and stuck it back in your pocket, muting it. Once that was done you put the sonic screw driver and put it in your jacket pocket, with great pains might I add.

Once that was done, you leaned against the console and brought your hands up for inspection.  You silently cursed at the second degree burns on your fingers and palms. Since when were sparks this dangerous? You thought and simply ignored the burning sensation. You leaned over to check on the Doctor, and chuckled silently. He was upsidedown, and looked as green as a newly sprouted banana.

"So, even Time Lords get dizzy." You whispered to yourself. After leaning against the console once more, you looked around for a loose ceiling pannel, or wire, or anything to attract most of the Exo-skeletized alien's attentions. Luckily, you spotted one far enough away from you and pulled out two things.

The first, contact lenses that a friend of the Doctor's had given you at a space alien flea market. According to her, these contacts allowed the user to see anythings weak points and innards when switched on, when off, they just made your eyes a cool glowing gold color.  And the second thing you pulled out was a gift from the Adipose mother for babysitting her children for a while, and this gift, was something the Doctor didn't know about. A sonic drill. Which was an awesome gift on it's own, but to make it even better, was the fact that it was your favorite  color. Plus, it was from space, so that made it cooler.

You put the contacts in your eyes quickly, and turned them on (by thining about it, not actually flipping a switch while its in your eye, that would be awkward). Once they were on, you used your drill and shot a sonic beam at the pannel's weak point, making it fall, with some unexpected fire. You grimaced as it slammed to ground with a very loud thunk. You heard feet scuffling, and checked to see how many were left around the Doctor.

Five. "This would be a lot easier if I could use a gun, but no, I had to travel with the  alien that has a british accent, and their morals." You grumbled quietly and stood abruptly.

The Doctor looked at you with a confused glance, and the five Sycorax all turned to you. Awkwardly, you forced a smile, and waved.

"Uh, hello there." You stated, and then they charged at you.

Immediately, you went into fighting mode. Your eyes narrowed, heart began beat faster, adrenaline coursed through you, and your senses went into overdrive. You smirked. Oh yes, this was something you missed.

"I'm going to enjoy this." With that said, you jumped over the console and pushed your foot into the face of a Sycorax. He, er, it, stumbled backward, while another punched you in the stomach.

"Oi, that hurt." You coughed out and puched it's neck, hard. It backed up, trying to suck in air. You held your stomach. "That really did hurt. Damn, I'm outta," You rammed your head into the third's stomach as you finished, "Shape!"

"Since when were you a fighter!?" The Doctor exclaimed in a stern but questioning tone from his position on the wall.

You looked at him and would have replied if the other two hadn't attacked you at the same moment. One held you down while the other kicked you in the stomach, and punched you in the face a few times. Yelling in pain and frustration was all you could do, until one of the ones from earlier pulled a gun and aimed it at your head. Quickly, very quickly, you had to come up with something, anything!

While you sturggled to free your hands, the Doctor, not willing to silently watch his companion die, struggled fiercly against his restraints.

"Oh. No. You. Don't!" The Doctor ground outas his wheel came unhinged and began rolling toward the armed Sycorax.

You almost laughed as the Doctor rolled into the Sycorax, and almost puked on him too. But now was not the time to laugh, no, now was the time to fight. You grabbed a hold of the one who was beating you. He winced as you took him by the arm and with all your reserved strength, and a loud groan of struggle, threw him into the one holding you down.

Once you finally escaped, you ran toward the Doctor, dodging and kicking whatever or whoever got in your way. At one point, your knuckles even began to bleed from punching exoskeletons. You cried out in pain when one shot you in the leg and picked you up by the hair.

You looked up at him with tears stinging the corners of your eyes. Observing his weak points with the contacts, you pulled out your sonic drill and hit him with a blast of its energy and escaped once his grip on your hair lessened. As fast as a person running with a limp could go, you ran to the Doctor.

"Well hello, Doctor." You stated once you reached him and you practically collapsed on top of him. He was abit startled but held you at arms length away from him.

"Are you alright?" He asked, concern practicalling dripping from his pours.

"I'm living off of adrenaline right now, so I'm good." You gave an exhausted smile, "But, once its gone, I'm gonna need a lot of pain killers." And with a mischiveous tone you added, "And maybe a dew Doctor's appointments." He chuckled at your last statement and helped you stand, but almost sent you both to the floor due to his diziness.

While you two struggled to stay upright, the Sycorax surrounded you. With serious looks, both you and the Doctor looked around, before you both looked at each other.

"Oh! I just remembered!" You smiled and used the arm that was not around the Doctor to grab his cellphone. Smiling you handed it to the Time Lord, "Here, hold this," You stated, he complied but not without a confused glance. Winking at the Doctor as you pulled out his sonic screwdriver. Then he knew what you were doing, and he smirked.

You held the screwdriver up to the phone and ahead splitting sonic noise rang throughout the rest of the ship. After that, the Doctor and yourself made your escape - after grabbing youe phone of course- and left aboard the Tardis.

The Doctor frowned dissaprovingly as he dressed your wounds and assessed the amount of damage. Embaressed, you sat there and winced or moaned out in pain when he'd dress a rather bloody wound or check for broken bones. His frown deepened when he saw the spot where you had been shot.

"You didn't have to do that, you know..." He said, a bit sternly.

"You were tied to a wheel, which they threw swords at and shot at, what else was I going to do? Wave a steak at them?" You said, rolling your eyes as his frown got bigger and his eyes narrowed a bit.

"You didn't have to do anything! I could have handled it!" He yelled, which startled you a bit, and he blinked at his sudden outburst. Looking back down toward your leg, he grabbed a cloth and began to clean it. You yelped and tears began to rise in your eyes. Now that the adrenaline was gone, you could feel the pain, and it was terrible.

He sighed and looked at you with sad eyes. He stood up a bit, still sort of crouched though, and hugged you closely, lovingly.

"I was afraid, so very afraid. Especially when I saw you get shot," His grip on you tightened and he rest his forehead in the crook of your neck. "I kept thinking, 'What if I lose her?' and 'Its all my fault, she's hurt and I'm the cause.' I can't lose you..." He said and you looked at him with teary eyes.

"Doctor..."

He didn't respond, and he just held you there for a little while before he let you go and started wrapping your leg up.

"Doctor..." You looked down at him, though wincing in pain, said, "Doctor, I didn't mean to make you feel that way...I was afraid too, that's why I fought them, because I was afraid that I would lose you. That's why I fought, not because I wanted to, or because I was angry, or anything like that. It was a fight or flight situation, and I chose to fight."

He listen quietly, and sighed when you were finished, he stood and held your head in his hands gently before kissing your forehead.

"So, Doctor, what's the damage?" You asked with a light hearted smile, "Am I going to live?"

He rolled his eyes at you with a light chuckle.

"You'll be fine, just need to stay off of you leg for a few weeks, and we'll have to keep checking on your burns, and your knuckles, but they should be fine in a few days." He smiled back.

"Does that mean no more adventures on unexplored alien planets for awhile?" You asked with a cute pout.

"Yup! But, we can still go to more relaxed areas," He hummed in thought and flipped a few switches on the TARDIS panels before exclaiming, "The Chasenee gardens are absolutely beautiful in the Spring of 4765!"

He smiled at you, and smiled back and said, "Sounds perfect!"

I do not own the Doctor, the characters, or you! I'm not gonna say anything more cause its late and I'm tired!

Hope you enjoyed!
